It’s our anniversary in 2025, not any old anniversary but our 50th

Back in 1975 our founding members got together in a local pub and had the vision to form the branch. We now have in our area over 1500 members, 4 breweries and well over a hundred pubs selling real ale and cider. The Branch has a very active social calendar helping to support pubs and breweries and we also run the annual summer beer and cider festival, an event thousands of people look forward to.

For 2025 we have celebrations planned for our anniversary including a Pub Bingo Trail and a 50 Beers for 50 Years Challenge, also campaigns to promote our pubs and breweries and beer scoring for the Good Beer Guide.
