We use self-drive Minibuses driven by CME members and volunteers where
possible. With Minibus hire we are unfortunately only
allowed to take CAMRA members on these trips. Spaces are limited to 16 per Minibus.
Non-members who wish to attend members only trips are encouraged to consider joining CAMRA.
Please note that for over-subscribed events we reserve the right to give priority to CME Branch members over
members of other Branches or non-members.
NB-For future events we will be using public transport where possible and taking advantage of £3 bus
fares.
Tuesday 2nd December, 8pm. Tulip, Springfield
Tuesday 2nd - 6th December
Unfortunately, no minibus to this event this year due to lack of numbers - but please make your own arrangements to visit this brilliant festival, held at the round Chapel in Hackney.
Saturday 6th December.
We plan to visit by train, if they are running. Times to be confirmed.
Sunday 7th December.
Proposed Date for Christmas Meal - usually 1pmVenue and details to be confirmed.
Wednesday evening, 10th December at The Hop Shop Moulsham Street, Chelmsford
This is for the Mighty Oak Brewery winning Essex Champion Beer for The Old Man and The Sea.
This will also be a chance to meet the brewer and to enjoy a joint social with Maldon and Dengie branch.
Fancy dress optional.
Wednesday 17th December, 8pm. Endeavour, Springfield
Sunday 28th December, Midday. Alehouse, Chelmsford
Meet at 12 midday at the Alehouse then onto a few other worthwhile drinking establishments for a bit of yuletide fun.
These are all subject to change and not been arranged as yet but gives an idea of what we
will be doing 2026.
