See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Built in 1840, this traditional English pub is probably the most prominent building in the small village of Terling and cannot be missed. Its present name reflects the Lord Rayleigh coat of arms above the door. It has been extensively renovated in a modern way, but keeping its original style. There is a large bar area with a separate restaurant and lounge at the back, the restaurant serving good quality English dishes is renowned for Sunday roasts. The pub is closed on a Monday, except for Bank Holidays and closed on a Wednesday during the Winter.
