The first of what we hope will become a regular quarterly event -- fresh air & some gentle exercise, followed by a fine ale or two.

Meet at 2.20/2.25pm opposite Chelmsford Railway Station outside Brewhouse.

We set off at 2.30pm sharp for a 3.5 mile ramble to The Endeavour on Springfield Road.

We walk at the speed of the slowest, so no prior fitness is assumed or required.

Mostly traffic-free route.

Tarmac paths throughout so no specialist footwear required. However a waterproof jacket may or may not be required ????

Return at own leisure via C8, C11 or 73 bus or otherwise.

No requirement to 'book', but it would be helpful to have an idea on numbers so please let Martin know if you are planning to come along.
